Rod Natkiel - Event Management & DVD Production

ABOUT US

about rod natkiel associatesRNA (Rod Natkiel Associates Ltd.) was formed in 2000 by Rod Natkiel, RNA's MD and Head of Production. He is the former Head of Network Production at BBC Birmingham, the BBC's busiest production centre outside London. In Rod's seven year management there, the centre delivered more than 1000 hours of networked TV every year, from Top Gear to Dalziel and Pascoe, and 3,500+ hours of networked radio, with 350 staff and an annual budget in excess of £50m.

The growth in BBC Birmingham's commercial enterprises under his leadership was dynamic, and included the reinvigoration of Clothes Show Live, the creation of Gardeners' World Live and the global expansion of the Top Gear brand for which Rod was the brand manager, both in the UK and abroad, for seven years. He has brought that experience, which includes extensive liaison with sponsors, into the RNA portfolio.

RNA’s first class creative, production and post-production team consists of in-house staff and a pool of carefully selected freelance A/V technicians, Production Managers, Designers, technology suppliers, marketers and communications experts. RNA has formal strategic alliances with a small number of other independent production companies working in specialist programming genres. Rod Natkiel himself is an award-winning producer, director and writer in a broad range of genres; he also has an MBA (Distinction) from the Birmingham Business School at Birmingham University.

In the decade since RNA’s inception, it has gained an excellent reputation for attention to detail, its professional and creative approach and the excellent value for money it delivers. RNA has produced more than 150 events and DVDs and its client base has grown to more than 50 businesses, including charities and other not-for-profit organisations.
